The weather is now perfect for running. 55, dry, and sunny. So, I took my 10 miler to the treadmill! I wanted to get my Yasso workout in and I didn't want to go to the track.
I warmed up the first three miles, with 2 of those miles at pace. Then I cranked out 10x800. The first 3 were at 9:15 pace, 3 at 8:49, 3 at 8:20, and the last one at 8:15. Total miles: 10.5. Rest intervals were .25 mile combination walking and easy running.
I am thankful to have that workout in the bank. I woke up this morning feeling lethargic and I think it was because I dreaded today's workout. I am also thankful that this is the last high mileage week in the cycle. I just want to run the race. Please, bring on the taper!
