Tough

It was a rough 12 miles today. Well, actually 12.63, but who's keeping score? During my most painful moment, I calculated that, since Sunday, I've run almost 32 miles already. And I feel it. It's questionable whether I run 4 "recovery" miles tomorrow because, after all, it is still running and my legs are telling me to take a rest. My hands were so cold that I was actually in pain and considered calling my husband for rescue. But, no. I knew if I didn't finish the 12 it would weigh on me for the rest of the program. I would have more to do to make it up. I knew this was going to be a tough week but I DID IT.
