This morning was my first Saturday run at marathon pace. I'll try do do these at 10:00 m/m give or take .05 seconds. Today I ran 5 miles with my average pace being 9:53. Not bad. It is super hot already so I'm going to have to make a real effort to get out the door by 7AM in order to beat the heat on my 10 miles tomorrow. I felt like I was making an effort the entire run. Is it supposed to feel this way? I didn't feel like it was "race" hard, but it was not easy.

The kids come home from camp tomorrow morning, so if I don't get my run in early I'm screwed. I'll be at the laundramat all day washing a months' worth of clothes, sleeping bags, and blankets. Oh, how fun! Then I get to pack two of them up again for more camp!
Here are some photos of the happy campers. It's amazing how clean they all look, but these were taken Friday night

, Shabbat. It's a Jewish camp so Friday nights are a big deal and they all dress up. My kids are the blondest (and cutest) in all the pics. :)
