Numbers, Graphs, Logs

I've been logging, blogging, and graphing for a year, so I don't understand how I let this happen. A couple of extra rest days, one too many zeros in the spreadsheet and what do I get? The first month since January with less than 100 miles logged. In January, I entered eleven zeros in a row because I had surgery for a hernia. I still managed 72.46 miles. In Novemember I ran a marathon and I only managed 92.02. I should have paid better attention. I should have blogged more. Eight miles! That's NOTHING! Next year, barring injury, I resolve to log nothing less than 100 miles per month.

Today I ran five miles at my "new" marathon pace. I threw in a few strides in the end. Wearing the heartrate monitor I averaged 162 bpm. I'm trying to figure out my resting heart rate, but it's kind of stressful. Anyway, I think I have it pegged at somewhere between 41-43 bpm. I'll keep checking for a few more days.
